Winter Essential Oil Scents

Essential oils are my jam.  I love a good blend, especially a good winter essential oils blend. There is something about Peppermint, Spruce, Fir, Eucalyptus that puts me in a cheerful mood. Everyone knows a cheerful mood makes dealing with crowded malls packed full of shoppers just a little bit more manageable. As well as, cheerful moods make cold winter days just that much more bearable.

Over the past couple months, I have collected oils from a few different brands while trying to figure out which brand was the best for me.  I did this by contacting local distributors of oil companies- thankfully the majority of them are in the form of a pyramid scheme so it’s easy to track down distributors to get some samples or just singular bottles. Some I did have to be bought online.  (YoungLiving, DoTerra I grabbed from some local distributors & ArtNaturals I bought online- they are still my fave oil company)

There seemed to be a lot of success and sharing of the Fall Blends post I wrote about my fave oils to diffuse in the Fall ( see that post here) So I thought why not do the same for winter?! So here we are. Without more rambles here’s the list:

Snow Day

2 drops Eucalyptus
2 drops Peppermint
2 drops Orange

Candy Cane

3 drops Lavender
2 drops Orange
1 drop Thieves
2 drops Cedarwood

Woods

4 drops Cedarwood
4 drops Pine
3 drops Spruce

Christmas Morning

5 drops Spruce
3 drops Orange
2 drops Peppermint
1 drops Frankincense

Winter Evening

3 drops Balsam Fir
2 drops Frankincense
1 drop Grapefruit

Wonderland

4 drops Peppermint
3 drops Bergamot
2 drops Cypress

If you are looking for a good diffuser there are TONS out there. I currently use one from ArtNaturals which can be found –> HERE. It is a small one that has a timer and lights up. This one is perfect for my bedroom as it does a great job at spreading the scent all around. For our rumpus room, we use a larger one that can be found –> HERE.

Hopefully, this list helps some people make their homes smell like holiday cheer

xo.

Hello November

Hello November! This past month has been insane for me, causing me to cut down on a lot of social time and really focus on my health and well being. This month I have decided to try and post maybe once or twice a week so easy my way back into being the social media icon I *THINK* I am ( haha) I am hoping to also try and upload some video posts in accordance to my blog posts- maybe. As always, if anyone has any requests for posts, photos, videos let me know and I can try and fit them in 🙂 Happy November!
